Why associated with Mawford Arts?
Mawford Arts is a creative collaboration between three brothers, Matt, Harry and Jack Mawford. Together we are Mawford Arts, and we work with professional and amateur theatre companies to design, build and install exceptional theatrical sets for their productions. Our service includes scenic artistry, prop design and build, and a full production service from concept to completion.
"We work with other talented creatives such as Scenic Designers and Production Managers and increasingly make use of technology such as 3D laser cutting and videography. We believe in a sustainable approach, and we love re-using and re-purposing materials, often making use of vintage and antique items to help give our work an accurate and period-correct look.
Our dream is to turn Mawford Arts into a true collaborative space, allowing us to take our business to the next level and call on the talents of a wider range of creatives to produce bigger, better and more challenging projects. We believe that age and social background shouldn't be a barrier to work, and we want Mawford Arts to be a hub for talent, whether you are a student studying at the local college in need of work experience, or a retired carpenter looking for part-time work...and everything in between!"
